    So what: ITT Educational Services (NYSE: ESI  ) reported earnings earlier this morning, shooting up 30%, and earlier this week,�Capella Education (NASDAQ: CPLA  ) jumped 15% after reporting, and is now approaching a new 52-week high. The education sector has gotten hammered over the last couple of years, but investors seem to be getting the feeling that enrollment numbers are bottoming. One exception was DeVry (NYSE: DV  ) , which fell sharply after reporting earnings earlier this week, but still managed to gain 5.8% today.

    Shares of Infosys Ltd (INFY) spiked in pre-market trading on Friday after the software company posted second quarter earnings and revenues that beat Wall Street expectations.

    The India-based company posted a second quarter net income of $383 million, or 67 cents per share, down from $431 million, or 75 cents per share, posted in the same period last year.

    The company’s earnings per American Depository Share, or ADR, came in at 73 cents per share. According to analysts at Thomson Reuters, the company was expected to earn 70 cents per share in the quarter.

    Infosys’ quarterly revenues came in at $2.066 billion, up from the $1.797 billion posted in the same quarter last year. On average, analysts were expecting the company to see $2.01 billion in revenues.

    “During the quarter we witnessed broad-based volume growth, robust client additions, five large deal wins and increased sales momentum of our big data and cloud offerings. This growth is a result of our focus on execution, which helps our clients achieve their objectives.” said S. D. Shibulal, CEO and Managing Director.

    “We will continue with planned investments and initiatives to explore new avenues of growth. We remain watchful of the sustainability of improving global economic fundamentals”, he added.

    Looking ahead, the company sees revenues growing between 9% and 10% in fiscal 2014.

    Infosys shares were up $2.72, or 5.41%, during pre-market trading on Friday. The stock is up 18.87% year-to-date.

These reliability standards are administered by the Texas Regi! onal Enti! ty (TRE), a functionally independent division of ERCOT. The Texas Utility Commission has primary jurisdiction over the ERCOT market to ensure the adequacy and reliability of electricity supply across the state's main interconnected power transmission grid. The ERCOT independent system operator (ERCOT ISO) is responsible for operating the bulk electric power supply system in the ERCOT market. The ERCOT ISO also serves as agent for procuring ancillary services for those members who elect not to provide their own ancillary services.

CenterPoint Houston's electric transmission business, along with those of other owners of transmission facilities in Texas, supports the operation of the ERCOT ISO. The transmission business has planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance responsibility for the portion of the transmission grid and for the load-serving substations it owns, primarily within its certificated area. CenterPoint Houston participates with the ERCOT ISO and other ERCOT utilities to plan, design, obtain regulatory approval for and construct new transmission lines necessary to increase bulk power transfer capability and to remove existing constraints on the ERCOT transmission grid.

CenterPoint Houston's integrated utility business was restructured in accordance with the Texas electric restructuring law and its generating stations were sold to third parties. CenterPoint Houston serves nearly all of the Houston/Galveston metropolitan area. At December 31, 2012, CenterPoint Houston's customers consisted of approximately 75 REPs, which sell electricity to over two million metered customers in CenterPoint Houston's certificated service area, and municipalities, electric cooperatives and other distribution companies located outside CenterPoint Houston's certificated service area. Natural Gas Distribution

CERC Corp.'s natural gas distribution business (Gas Operations) engages in regulated intrastate natural gas sales to, and natural gas transportation for, approximately 3.3 million residential, commercial and industrial customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas. Gas Operations actively engages in commodity price stabilization pursuant to annual gas supply plans presented to and/or filed with each of its state regulatory authorities. Gas Operations uses various third-party storage services or owned natural ga! s storage! facilities to meet peak-day requirements and to manage the daily changes in demand due to changes in weather and may also supplement contracted supplies and storage from time to time with stored liquefied natural gas and propane-air plant production.

Gas Operations owns and operates an underground natural gas storage facility with a capacity of seven billion cubic feet It has a working capacity of two billion cubic feet available for use during a normal heating season and a maximum daily withdrawal rate of 50 million cubic feet . It also owns nine propane-air plants with a total production rate of 200,000 Dekatherms per day and on-site storage facilities for 12 million gallons of propane (one billion cubic feet natural gas equivalent). It owns a liquefied natural gas plant facility with a 12 million-gallon liquefied natural gas storage tank (one billion cubic feet natural gas equivalent) and a production rate of 72,000 Dekatherms per day. Gas Operations has entered into various asset management agreements associated with its utility distribution service in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas. As of December 31, 2012, Gas Operations owned approximately 72,000 linear miles of natural gas distribution mains, varying in size from one-half inch to 24 inches in diameter. Generally, in each of the cities, towns and rural areas served by Gas Operations, it owns the underground gas mains and service lines, metering and regulating equipment located on customers' premises and the district regulating equipment necessary for pressure maintenance.

Interstate Pipelines

CERC's pipelines business operates interstate natural gas pipelines with gas transmission lines primarily located in Arkansas, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. CERC's interstate pipeline operations are primarily conducted by two wholly owned subsidiaries that provide gas transportation and storage services primarily to industrial customers and local distribution companies, includ! ing Cente! rPoint Energy Gas Transmission Company, LLC (CEGT) is an interstate pipeline that provides natural gas transportation, natural gas storage and pipeline services to customers principally in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas and includes the 1.9 billion cubic feet per day pipeline from Carthage, Texas to Perryville, Louisiana, which CEGT operates as a separate line with a fixed fuel rate, and CenterPoint Energy-Mississippi River Transmission, LLC (MRT) is an interstate pipeline that provides natural gas transportation, natural gas storage and pipeline services to customers principally in Arkansas, Illinois and Missouri. CenterPoint Southeastern Pipelines Holding, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of CERC, owns a 50% interest in Southeast Supply Header, LLC (SESH). SESH owns a one billion cubic feet per day, 274-mile interstate pipeline that runs from the Perryville Hub in Louisiana to Coden, Alabama.

Field Services

CERC's field services business operates gas gathering, treating and processing facilities and also provides operating and technical services and remote data monitoring and communication services. CERC's field services operations are conducted by a wholly owned subsidiary, CenterPoint Energy Field Services, LLC (CEFS), and subsidiaries of CEFS. CERC's field services business provides natural gas gathering and processing services for certain natural gas fields in the Mid-continent region of the United States that interconnect with CEGT's and MRT's pipelines, as well as other interstate and intrastate pipelines. As of December 31,2012, CERC's field services business gathered an average of approximately 2.4 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas. In addition, CERC's field services business has the capacity available to treat up to 2.5 billion cubic feet per day and process 625 million cubic feet per day of natural gas. CEFS, through its ServiceStar operating division, provides remote data monitoring and communications services to affiliates and third parties. CERC's ! field ser! vices business owns and operates approximately 4,600 miles of gathering lines and processing plants that collect, treat and process natural gas primarily from three regions located in producing fields in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

Other Operations

The Company�� other operations business segment includes office buildings and other real estate. It is used in its business operations and other corporate operations that support all of its business operations.

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- The broader market snapped its winning streak, closing in the red on Thursday.

On CNBC's "Fast Money" TV show, fading trends and strong trends fueled the discussion. Dan Nathan said he expects Netflix (NFLX) to break down, citing a five-year low in the short interest. He added that he still likes Qualcomm (QCOM).

Karen Finerman said she really liked CVS Caremark (CVS), but it has become too overvalued at this point.

Jon Najarian thinks shipping stocks, such as DryShips (DRYS) and Diana Shipping (DSX) are overextended. He added that he still likes Ciena (CIEN). Anthony Scaramucci also does not like Netflix at these levels but would still be a buyer of Facebook (FB). Twitter announced that it filed for its much awaited IPO, with Goldman Sachs (GS) as the lead underwriter. Dan Niles, CIO of Alpha One Capital Partners, was quick to remind everyone what happened with Facebook after its public debut. He added that the company continues to grow revenue at a strong rate and also has a solid mobile advertising platform. The stock will certainly be in demand, but Niles said he wants to see what the valuation will be first. Scaramucci believes Morgan Stanley (MS) will have some sort of role with the underwriting, although not as the lead underwriter. Mike Khouw said there could be a lot potential in Twitter, unlike what he thought about Facebook. He added that Twitter is a legitimate news source and that it has a lot of promise. Barbara Marcin, manager of the Gabelli Dividend Growth Fund, said she does not think money will come out of Apple (AAPL) and go into the Twitter IPO due to its different investor base. She added that if you don't include its cash, Apple is extremely cheap and multiple expansion will eventually come when the company releases new products. Barney Harford, CEO of Orbitz Worldwide (OWW), was a guest on the show and said the company's main focus is in the hotel part of the business and driving continued acceleration in hotel-unit volumes. He added the company's recent acquisitions are setting it up well for the future along with the push into mobile.

Nonperforming assets are just 2.1% of total assets and the bank is massively over-reserved for future losses, with loan reserves at 6 times nonperforming loans. The bank bought back 544,494 shares of common stock at an average price of $16.79 per share in 2013. The board just authorized a new 5% buyback in January 2014. The stock is trading around 80% of book value, so management is buying the shares on the cheap — and that should bode well for shareholders in the future.

The Electrical segment is involved in the design, manufacture and distribution of a broad range of electrical products to the retail DIY, OEM, electrical distribution, power transformation and harsh environment electrical markets. The Electrical segment sells its products through a combination of distributors, direct sales personnel and manufacturers' representatives. The Electrical segment provides the retail DIY market with a range of electrical tools and consumables, such as wire strippers, electrical meters,! connecto! rs, terminals, cable ties, staples and other wire management products and conduit bending equipment under the Gardner Bender, Del City and A.W. Sperry brands. These products are sold to retailers, such as Lowe's, The Home Depot, Menards, True Value and Ace Hardware, as well as numerous electrical distributors and OEM's.

The Electrical segment sells power transformation products in North America, including low voltage, single-phase dry type transformers and custom toroidal transformers under the Acme Electric brand name and high voltage switches under the Turner Electric brand name. These transformers are sold through electrical wholesale distributors, as well as directly to OEMs, such as Rockwell Automation, Eaton, Yaskawa and General Electric. Product offerings also include electrical components and systems for the harsh environment and marine markets under the Ancor, Marinco, Guest, Mastervolt and B.E.P Marine brand names. Engineered Solutions

The Engineered Solutions segment is a global designer and assembler of customized position and motion control systems and other industrial products to various transportation and other niche markets. This segment focuses on providing technical and engineered products, including actuation systems, mechanical power transmission products, engine air flow management solutions and rugged electronic instrumentation. Products in the Engineered Solutions segment are primarily marketed directly to OEMs through a technical sales organization. Approximately 55% of this segment's revenue comes from the vehicle systems product line (Power-Packer, Gits and Power Gear brands), which is sold to the t! ruck, aut! omotive, off-highway and specialty vehicle markets. Products include hydraulic cab-tilt and latching systems, which are sold to global heavy duty truck OEMs, such as Volvo, Iveco, Scania, Paccar-DAF and CNHTC and electro-hydraulic convertible top latching and actuation systems. The automotive convertible top actuation systems are utilized on both retractable soft and hard top vehicles manufactured by OEMs, such as Daimler, Volkswagen, Renault, Peugeot, BMW, Volvo and Nissan.

The Company's diesel engine air flow solutions, such as exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems, are used by diesel engine and turbocharger manufacturers to reduce emissions, improve fuel efficiency and horsepower. Primary end markets include heavy duty truck and off-highway equipment serving customers, such as Caterpillar, Cummins, Honeywell and Borg Warner. It also sells actuation systems to various specialty vehicle OEMs (principally in the defense, recreational vehicle and off-highway markets), such as Oshkosh and Fleetwood.

On November 21, 2011 (the spin-off date), the Company completed a spin-off of its timeshare operations and timeshare development business. Under license agreements with the Company, Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation (MVW) is the developer and operator of timeshare, fractional, and related products under the Marriott brand and the developer of fractional and related products under The Ritz-Carlton brand. The Company receives license fees under these licensing agreements. In April 2012, it opened the Renaissance Barcelona Hotel. In September 2012, its JW Marriott hotel brand has opened JW Marriott Essex House New York in New York City.

The Company is a worldwide operator, franchisor, and licensor of hotels, corporate housing properties, and timeshare properties under a number of brand names. The Company also operates, markets, and develops residential properties and provides services to home/condominium owner associations. As of December 31, 2011, the Company operated, franchised or licensed 3,718 lodging properties worldwide, with 643,196 rooms inclusive of 32 home and condominium products (3,838 units) for which it manages the related owners��associations. As of December 31, 2011, the Company provided 2,166 furnished corporate housing rental units. As of December 31, 2011, there were 492 Marriott Hotels & Resorts properties (178,854 rooms), excluding JW Marriott and Marriott Conference Centers. As of December 31, 2011, there were 10 Marriott Conference Centers (2,915 rooms) throughout the United States. JW Marriott is a global luxury brand made up of a collection o! f propert! ies and resorts. As of December 31, 2011, there were 53 properties (23,826 rooms) primarily located in gateway cities and upscale locations globally. Renaissance Hotels properties are located in downtown locations of major cities, in suburban office parks, near gateway airports, and in destination resorts. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company entered into joint ventures with AC Hotels of Spain to create the AC Hotels by Marriott co-brand. AC Hotels typically contain 50 to 150 rooms and are located in destination, downtown, and suburban markets. As of December 31, 2011, there were 80 AC Hotels by Marriott properties (8,371 rooms) in Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Courtyard is the Company�� select-service hotel product for the upper-moderate price tier. The hotels typically contain 90 to 150 rooms in suburban locales and 140 to 340 rooms in downtown domestic and international locales. As of December 31, 2011, there were 913 Courtyards (134,719 rooms) operating in 37 countries and territories.

Fairfield Inn & Suites offers a range of amenities, including free in-room high-speed Internet access and free wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) access in the lobby, on-site business services (copying, faxing, and printing), a business center/lobby computer with Internet access and print capability, continental breakfast buffet, The Market, exercise facilities, and a swimming pool. In addition, suite rooms provide guests with separate areas for sleeping, working, and relaxing, as well as in-room amenities, including a microwave and refrigerator. As of December 31, 2011, there were 431 Fairfield Inn & Suites propert! ies and 2! 49 Fairfield Inn properties operating in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. SpringHill Suites properties typically have 90 to 165 suites. As of December 31, 2011, there were 617 Residence Inn properties (74,867 rooms) located in the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, United Kingdom, and Germany. As of December 31, 2011, 193 TownePlace Suites properties (20,048 rooms) were located in 42 states. Marriott ExecuStay provides furnished corporate apartments for long-term stays nationwide. As of December 31, 2011, Marriott leased approximately 2,200 apartments and its 11 franchisees leased approximately 2,500 apartments. Apartments are located in 43 different markets in the United States, of which 34 are franchised. Marriott Executive Apartments provides temporary housing for business executives and others who need accommodations outside their home country, usually for 30 or more days. As of December 31, 2011, 20 Marriott Executive Apartments and two other Serviced Apartments properties (3,700 rooms total) were located in 16 countries and territories. All Marriott Executive Apartments are located outside the United States.

    We're seeing the exact same setup in shares of small-cap HVAC firm Aaon (AAON). The biggest difference is that in AAON's case, the ascending triangle pattern is coming in at the top of this stock's recent price action, not at the bottom. That makes this a more textbook trade for September.

    Another important difference is the fact that AAON hasn't triggered yet. Shares have been coiling below $26 resistance since the middle of the summer; a breakout above that $26 level is the indicator that it's time to buy. Whenever you're looking at any technical price pattern, it's critical to think in terms of buyers and sellers. Triangles and other price pattern names are a good quick way to explain what's going on in this stock, but they're not the reason it's tradable. Instead, it all comes down to supply and demand for shares.

    That resistance line at $26 is a price where there's an excess of supply of shares; in other words, it's a place where sellers have been more eager to take recent gains and sell their shares than buyers have been to buy. That's what makes the move above it so significant -- a breakout indicates that buyers are finally strong enough to absorb all of the excess supply above that price level.

    Wait for that to happen before you put your money on this trade.
